"ADAPTING TO DIVERSE SCIENCE CULTURE: Through Leadership Empowerment"

“Leadership is action not position.” Leadership empowerment is the key in adapting to diverse science cultures. Personally, I believe that adapting to diverse science cultures pertains to the different inventions that must be use properly and accordingly.

Nowadays there are lots of inventions scattered. So that others are able to adapt to the changes in science world we must be a good leader. To be like one is not easy, there are guidelines to be followed. Number one on the list states that if you believe you can then you’re right, as they say “mind over matter.” Second, you must believe that people put value on you, whatever thing you do whether how big or small it is there’s a corresponding value. Third, it’s all about the “attitude”, you must have a good attitude towards everything especially in dealing to some problems in the inventions. These are only some of the guidelines, and if you follow this I assure you, you will be a good leader towards development.

As I mentioned, leadership empowerment is the key to adapt to this science cultures. That’s why many believe that a leader is not born for they are made. And it’s true we must work hard to be a good leader.

"FILIPINO FOR PILIPINOS"

"FILIPINO FOR PILIPINOS"

The Philippines is an archipelago that composes of 7,107 islands, different culture and most of all different dialects. Because of this a goal of having a national Language was formed. This goal does not only aim to promote a national unity, it also aims to have a national identity for our country.

There are many languages or dialects used here in the Philippines. To name a few there’s Iloco, Waray,Pangasinense and Tagalog. Just think of it we’re living in one country but we can hardly understand each other, that’s why having Filipino as our national language is a great help. Many Pilipinos nowadays is not patronizing Filipino because of there colonial mentality. I’m not depriving them to learn other languages but they should patronize first our own language before others. At present, Philippines is a well-known country, even at the most remote part of the world you can still see Pilipino scattered there. These scenarios also let us see the importance of Filipino, because we can never know when or where you’ll see a Kababayan.

Filipino is for Pilipino that’s why we should love, patronize and use it. Because of it we are unique from other countries, we are known as Pilipino and we are proud of being one. As Dr. Jose Rizal said and I quoted “ Ang taong ‘di marunong sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda.”
