MY DREAM, MY FUTURE...

Only a few days to go and I'll be graduating in high school. College is on deck and the biggest question is… What will I be in the future?

Ten years from now I’ll be an accountant, working in a well-known bank. While working I ‘am still studying. Why studying? Because I’m pursuing my first dream which is to become a lawyer. To cut my story short, I used accountancy as my stepping stone to law. At present I ‘am doing all my best to realize all my dreams, not only for myself but for my love ones. That is why as a sign of gratitude; I thank them all for being there to help, most especially to God for without Him I wouldn’t be here.

Yes, building dreams is fun but we should not be contented just building them, we should make them possible. For I believe that dreams are obtained by giving our hundred percent best, we need to work twice as hard to realize all our dreams.

"HEAL THE WORLD: Start with the man in the mirror."

Change is not naturally there, it must be gain. Everything changes for many reason. Some change for the betterment while other change for the worst. But why is there a need for us to change?

If we open our eyes to the society, there are lot of crimes and almost all of these bad things happen in our beloved country. These is very factual, look around us, who are we to be blind not to see the children scattered on the streets asking for “limos” and what usually comes to our mind is, where are their parents? What kind of parents do they have risking their child’s life just to have money. Not only poverty affects us. There’s extra judicial killings, massacres, political problems and most of all corruption. What must we do to stop all these is a total reformation or change. Our government should be sent to the auto shop for overhauling. By doing these things we can be a progressive country. One other thing that is interesting is about global warming, earth is becoming a large frying pan. In order to solve this problem we also need change. Starting with ourselves we can reduce earth’s destruction by obeying the 3 r’s (reduce, reuse and recycle). Making a difference from the usual feels great and even a small change can make a huge difference.

This month is a good month to start making change, because February is the month of love. As Michael Jackson, the king of pop said to some of his songs that we should heal the world and make it a better place for the entire human race, do what are we waiting for. Start with the man in the mirror and make a change.

"My Third Grading Experiences"

High School life gets even better and I’ve never felt this way before. As time goes by, I get deeper to many things and learn more especially on my T.L.E. class.

On my T.L.E class I’ve learned more on HTML Tags especially on html images and links. I’ve also experience the same thing on my other classes. Like in the past few grading periods there are also problems that I encountered, but this time its only the usual problems like rushing my projects and assignments due to conflict on schedule. But with the help and support of my love ones and with the help of God, I made it through. I also thank God for these challenges because it molds me to be a better person.

I know that this third grading is not yet the end. On the Fourth Grading period I’ll do my best to achieve my dream. And I’m very positive and confident that I’ll be able to do it.

Make EVERYDAY a CHRISTMAS DAY!!!

December is the month we’ve all been waiting for, because its where we celebrate Christmas. People start making list, buying gifts and decorating their homes. What can I say, Christmas is already a tradition, our year would not be complete without celebrating it.

During Christmas we commemorate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. Well we all know how He was born, it’s truly magical. But what is really the true essence of Christmas? For some, celebrating Christmas is mostly about gifts and material things, for others, its about reuniting the family. But how about for those who had experienced a devastating disaster this past few months? How about those families who had loss one of their member in the Maguindanao Massacre? How can they feel the real essence of Christmas? That’s where we come in. As member of a community, we should give comfort to the afflicted and help those who are sick. We should forget our own interests and open our hearts to the needs of others. These are small things that we can give as present for Christmas. Doing these things is answering the question mentioned above, which is the true essence of celebrating Christmas. Its all about sharing what we have and spreading love, peace and joy to our neighbor.

Christmas is truly, really important to the hearts of every people living on earth. But realizing the essence of celebrating it does not only start and ends at Christmas. We should make everyday a Christmas day not only to our home but to the community as well.

"Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino: Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon."

"Ang mga Pilipino, ano mang hamon ng paanahon kayang lampas an nagpapatibay at nagpapatatag ng loob."

This past few months our beloved country had been experiencing a lot of devastating disasters. There’s a lot of super typhoon namely ondoy, pepeng and others, that destroyed the lives of many Filipinos. The latest issue or bad news is the Maguindanao Massacre , that harshly killed almost 57 civilians, journalists and the wife of vice mayor Maguindadatu. But in spite of this challenges in life Pinoys can still stand up, smile and laugh. And because of this trait Filipinos are famous, but for some foreigners they find this trait a little odd, because they think we are not serious in the things we do. Pinoys are also resourceful. They make great thinks out of a piece of garbage that can help them solve their problems. The most important trait that Filipinos have is having a strong faith in God. We, Pinoys believe that all the problems are only challenges of God that test how strong our faith in Him. Without this Pinoy trait all the other traits are nothing.

This are only some of the many traits of the Filipinos that helps us pass whatever problems that comes our way. And this makes us a so called “Matibay na Pinoy.”

SECOND QUARTER DISASTER!!!!!!!!!!

My 2nd quarter is not as easy as my 1st quarter.
During the second grading I have lot of learning especially on my T.L.E. class. I learned about different HTML tags and their uses, and I realized that this knowledge may be helpful for me in choosing my vocation. If in the 1st quarter I encountered simple problems, in the 2nd grading I encountered tougher problems, I’m beginning to feel the pressure of being a 4th year student. Why? Because there are more mind stripping lessons, more hectic schedules and lot of extracurricular activities. This past few weeks there are lot of suspension of classes, because of this we need to rush the topics that are included in the Periodical Test. Soon I just pray to God and did all my best. Thanks God
I survived!
Despite of the pressures and problems, one thing is for sure, these are not hindrance to my success. I will do all the means to graduate.

MY TEACHER MY HERO!!

A TRIBUTE...

WITHOUT TEACHERS: No Lawyers; No Engineers; No Policemen and definitely No Doctors. This is the reason why we consider then as hero. But still, some don’t know what’s behind the blackboard and class record.

Teachers without those uniforms are just like us, doing their work and giving their best effort to it. For them doing this is not easy, they have to go through many challenges, one of it is that they have to divide their time for their family and students. Most of the time they have to spend more time at school rather than at home. The most talked about issue today is that we are running out of teachers, specifically good teachers because their going abroad for a greener pasture. And we should blame the government to it because they’re not giving attention to their needs.

Teachers, mentors, master whatever we call them what’s important is we commemorate their contribution to our lives. Not only this teacher’s month celebration but we should do this everyday.
